Service Scope

Safeguarding at Mindscape Travels

1. Commitment to Ethical and Safe Engagement

At Mindscape Travels, safeguarding is fundamental to how we design and deliver our services. While our offerings are non-clinical and focused on wellbeing, personal clarity, and intentional travel, we recognise that members come from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. We are committed to creating and maintaining environments, both digital and in person, that respect dignity, privacy, and emotional safety for every individual. This commitment extends across our digital platforms, community spaces, travel experiences, and research initiatives, ensuring that no one is exposed to unnecessary risk or unanticipated distress.

2. Guided Human Oversight and Non-Clinical Boundaries

Our approach to safeguarding emphasises structured human oversight at every stage of engagement. Our automated tools are adopted for logistical optimisation and itinerary sequencing, but decisions involving wellbeing interpretation, suitability screening, and community interaction are guided by trained human facilitators who prioritise safety, consent, and ethical conduct. We intentionally avoid clinical assessment or diagnostic interpretations, as all wellbeing measures used in our services are non-clinical self-report instruments used for reflection and service refinement rather than mental health evaluation. Where an individual’s needs exceed the scope of our non-clinical support, we provide clear signposting to regulated healthcare and professional services.

3. Privacy, Consent and Respectful Participation

Mindscape Travels operates with strong respect for privacy, informed consent, and participant agency. We collect only the information that is necessary to deliver our services and to monitor outcomes in an anonymised and secure manner. All participation in research, community discussions, or guided activities is voluntary, and individuals retain control over how they engage and share information. We take steps to ensure that data is handled securely, that personal boundaries are respected in group and one-to-one settings, and that interactions within the community are conducted with compassion, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity. This holistic approach to safeguarding helps us create trustworthy, inclusive spaces where individuals can explore travel, reflection, and wellbeing with confidence.
